Malecón 2000   

In Malecon 2000 you can find attractions like La Perla, monuments like La Rotonda, and many places to eat. You can even ride a pirate Boat that is called Morgan.

Cerro Santa Ana / Las Peñas

Cerro Santa Ana is a very popular place. There are 444 steps that take you to la Capilla at the top, and many bars and restaurants on the way up. We can also find  Las Peñas, this is a very old place, but very  colorful and is the first Neighborhood in Guayaquil.   

Encebollado

Encebollado is a typical food that people eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
 

It is made with onion, fish and ketchup. You can eat it with fried plantain.

Caldo de Salchicha

This is (I think) the most popular plate in Guayaquil. I'm talking about Caldo de salchicha, a plate that if you know what it is made of, you're never going to want to eat. It is made of the small intestine of pork, filled with rice, blood and pork gut. It doesn't sound good but it tastes delicious.
